Thimbleweed Park Creator Offers "Cryptic" Clues

Thimbleweed Park is a point and click adventure game created by some of the giants of the genre, Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick. There was an announcement from the studio behind the game coming next week, but Ron Gilbert released a tweet with a "vague, cryptic, puzzling clue about our multiple Thimbleweed Park console announcement next week."

As with much of his humor it was very tongue in cheek as his tweet showed him playing Thimbleweed Park on a Switch. This is something he has expressed interest in before, so it shouldn't come as a big surprise to anyone, but with the game already on PC and Xbox One there is a question that comes to mind.

Perhaps the overly obvious clue was to throw us off of the real mystery in the tweet. He said there would be multiple console announcements, we already know it's coming to phones and tablets, and he already showed the Switch. With the Xbox One and PC already having the game, that makes things pretty clear. That's right, Thimbleweed Park will be coming out as DLC for the SNES Classic!

Anyway, what are your thoughts on Thimbleweed Park coming to more consoles? Do you have the game? Would you buy it again if it was on a different console? If you don't have it yet, would you think about getting it if it came to your console of choice? Let me know your thoughts. As always I can be reached through twitter @spencerhavens.
