E3 is rapidly approaching. With it will come a lot of announcements, and that means there will inevitably be leaks. This one seems small at first glance, but offers quite a bit of information.
Hitman was recently picked up by publisher Warner Bros. after the IP was released with its developer IO interactive. The Hitman Twitter teased that some more news was coming soon. Around the same time Warner Bros. Games released a tweet saying a "live reveal" was coming in 72 hours. Then people got excited and found a hidden picture on the Warner Bros games server. Soon after this it was deleted.
So what's the big deal? Well, what's most exciting is that it says Hitman 2, not Hitman season 2. It implies a full game rather than an episodic one, which is something fans really want. At least that's what a lot of people are hoping it means. It could still be episodic, but with Warner Bros. as publisher there'd probably be a type of monetization tied in.
What do you think? Will Hitman 2 be episodic or not?
