Cyberpunk 2077 rumored to be at E3

CD Projekt Red has been buzzing in the news recently. First with the somewhat revival of their Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account, and now with a possible leak. Fans of the accomplished studio have latched onto this rumor in the hopes that it is true.

Essentially, a Polish news site called GRYonline says they have two different unnamed sources confirming the same thing. That Cyberpunk 2077 will be coming to E3 2018 with a new trailer and even a demo for a select few people. However, this demo is supposed to be behind closed doors, so unless it is also leaked it will be staying hidden until sometime after E3.

This is coming right after the Cyberunk 2077 Twitter account tweeted for the first time since 2013. Although, it was just a word, or noise if you want to be specific. This still got people excited thinking it was a sign of things to come. Well, a trailer and private demo at E3 is certainly something. Still, CD Projekt Red hasn't confirmed any of this. So it is still just a rumor.

Whether it comes to E3 or not, Cyberpunk 2077 is already causing quite a stir. It has been in development since before the Witcher 3 was released, but it is supposed to be much larger than that RPG. Even if they do release a trailer at E3, it is doubtful the game will release this year due to how often they've allegedly reworked systems within the game. Although there is nothing wrong with hoping it'll come out soon.

What do you think about rumors like this from unnamed sources? Are you skeptical, or do enough things line up that it makes sense in your mind? Let me know what you think, and if you're excited for Cyberpunk 2077’s release.
